Reasons Why the UltraLyte is "Measurably Superior."

UltraLyte

The UltraLyte
  • All-aluminum Housing – Withstands significant damage, even if the worst happens. Consider the difference in replacement costs versus minor repairs.
  • 3D Mapping Capability – Measures distances and heights and integrates with LTI's QuickMap 3D software for crash/crime scene investigations.
  • Convenient Power Source – Eliminates recharging hassles and allows you to purchase replacement batteries anytime, anywhere.
  • Adjustable Range Gate – Acquires speeds through glass and inclement weather by presetting a minimum range.
  • Visual / Audible Accuracy Validation - Ensures the UltraLyte's reliability when challenged in court. This is why LTI has an exceptional record for winning cases.
  • Adjustable Sholder Stock - Helps stabilize the UltraLyte to more quickly capture a valid speed measurement.

Speed Enforcement with Lidar and Digital Imaging

Laser Technology Micro Digi-Cam

LTI's Micro Digi-Cam

The Micro Digi-Cam (MDC) is the most sophisticated laser-based digital imaging enforcement tool available. How many speeding violations can one officer issue within a full day shift? Imagine multiplying that total number of violations by one-hundred in the same shift !

Today agencies world-wide are experiencing fewer traffic accidents and fatalities all while receiving a positive return on their investment with the MDC. Prevent courtroom battles with rock-solid photographic evidence. This latest technology will greatly increase your department's personnel productivity and overall efficiency unlike anything else available on the market.

Micro Digi-Cam Screen Shot

MDC provides critical information
for an enforceable violation.

Not only does the MDC produce full-color images of a violator's vehicle and license plate, it stores all the necessary action for an enforceable violation.

The MDC field and desktop software provide the following critical information: date, time, operator ID, badge number, zone limit, speed and direction, distance, location description and tamper status.

All the field data stored and can be downloaded and archived to any PC for secure post-processing.

The MDC offers a built-in tamper-proof security system. This required feature ensures the integrity of all the image details stored.

When in "auto mode", the MDC will constantly collect statistical traffic data but will only take images when vehicles are exceeding the speed limit. This feature allows the MDC to be extremely efficient by only storing the images of violators.

The MDC system can integrate with an UltraLyte Compact, UltraLyte 100 and UltraLyte 100 LR model.

Micro Digi-Cam Accessories

Issue violations right in the field
with the optional Bluetooth®
compatible field printer.

QuickMap 3D

by Admin 8. October 2006 06:31

It's all in the name - "QuickMap" - fewer key presses, faster computations and innovative new mapping techniques are now available on a Palm™ and Pocket PC platform! Save time, manpower and lives by clearing an accident scene 66% faster!

QuickMap 3D Mapping Techniques
QuickMap 3D has three (3)
different mapping techniques

Laser Technology, Inc. has developed a complete mapping solution designed for the "non-surveyor." With our QuickMap 3D field software and our multi-purpose UltraLyte laser, mapping a crash or crime scene has never been easier. You can quickly capture distance and height data with our reflectorless laser and digitally record the position of any target with our field software. Instead of trying to decipher your handwritten notes back at the office, you can simply transfer all your data points directly into any CAD-based diagramming program and save yourself hours of time. You'll even experience a quick and easy learning curve and should expect a high level of retention, even if you don't use QuickMap 3D regularly.

Field Software Features:

  • Save more files with increased data storage capability
  • Choose from 3 different mapping techniques to best fit your needs
  • Activate the Z value to map a scene in 3 dimensions
  • Upload a customized "Pick List" from your PC to quickly identify points in the field
  • Review data in the field, with graphical map - zoom in or out, pan left or right or view the "Point Detail" screen
  • Edit data in the field, "Re-shoot" any point or reclassify a feature
  • Perform a crush analysis to document the impact of a vehicle
  • Utilize convenient onscreen help menus and reminder messages

PC Software Features:

  • Create a pick list of common features measured in the field such as: a street, median, curb or traffic light
  • Control what types of output files are created such as: RAW, DXF and CSV
  • Specify DXF format options by adding or deleting layers such as: points, lines, curves, vehicles and descriptors
